I hope that everyone will take a few minutes today to remember those thousands upon thousands of men and women who gave their life for our freedom. We owe a debt to these people that can never be repaid. I know many people see Memorial Day as a long weekend or the start of summer, but please take a few moments to reflect on the many lives that have been lost throughout our history. If you have children, please remind them of what Memorial Day really means.
