Undercover Profits
Undercover Profits is a new tool that allows you to see exactly what other people are promoting on Adwords as Affiliates. Do not confuse Undercover Profits with XRay Domination, because they are not the same. There is a great video showing the tool in use. John’s product is really amazing in that it makes it so easy to find who is promoting what using which keywords. Huh? Yeah, it really does that. I myself am very interested in this tool. Secret Script
The Secret Script is something I just started using. It is a software package from fellow Texan Jordan Hall. The Secret Script is a redirect similar to the Hot Link Cloaker and others listed on that site, but with a great twist in the option to include multiple affiliate links that create cookies. Yes, I know it is Black Hat no doubt. The multiple affiliate links is totally optional and limited to 5. However, I like the script for it’s simplicity, and the price is low enough for everyone to enjoy it - under $30 right now. Duplicate Content
There was a new article today that said the number one cause of legimate websites being dropped from the search engines was Duplicate Content. That makes a lot of sense to me because we all know how search engines love blogs, which are usually filled with fresh new content on a regular basis. If you have ever created a few websites promoting a product or service, you may have used the promotion material provided by the program. If you wait a few weeks and search Google, many times you will find that 20 other people used the same material. What usually happens is that someone is going to get penalized and may have their site removed from the search listings. Now, you may be wondering how we avoid the problem of Duplicate Content. The traditional way would be to rewrite all the copy yourself, which takes a lot of time and energy. Some people use outsourcing such as Rent A Coder to have other people do it, but do you really know where they are getting the material? I personally use a better option, and much cheaper! A unique product called Easy Web Video has been getting rave reviews, including from me. Easy Web Video, also called V2F or Video to Flash, is an easy to use software product that allows anyone to convert a video file into a flash file, which makes it very easy to stream video from your website without using up a ton of bandwidth or worrying about which format the user needs such as Quicktime, Windows Media, or RealPlayer. I personally have used Easy Web Video, and I really think it is a great piece of software. As video becomes more important for online businesses, tool like this will be indispensible.
