The Marketing Fusions Secrets followup to 12 Month Millionaire is now available. If you missed this, and most people did (I was lucky), you simply must check out this awesome audio and transcript containing some of the most powerful conversations you have ever heard. The call included Mike Filsaime and Russell Brunson discussing their businesses and how they grew from making hundreds to making millions online. There really is a ton of information here, and even though I was on the actual call, I am printing out the transcript to read it anyway.
I turned 30 today, and spent some time thinking about what I had accomplished with my life. When I was ten or so, I used to say that I would never get married and I would be a millionaire by 30. Well, I was correct about one since I am not married. I do joke about this a bit, but please don’t get me wrong as I’m sure the right person would easily change my mind. However, this post is about the other prediction, that of being a millionaire by 30. Of course, when you’re ten years old, 30 seems like a lifetime away. I can’t say I am a millionaire, or halfway there as of yet. However, I can say that I am on the right path to being a millionaire. Sure, it may take until I’m 40. But the important thing is that I am traveling down the correct road. The biggest obstacle you have to overcome is the belief that you don’t have what “it” takes. The truth is most people who are rich are not necessarily any smarter than you are. However, they believe they can be financially wealthy. I realized a few years ago that you simply can not trade time for money and become wealthy. There just isn’t enough time in our lives to do so. Thus, you have to implement a system where you make money even while you are doing something else. There are numerous ways to accomplish this goal, and the road I chose was Internet Marketing. I leverage the automatic proccess of Internet Sales so that the software and my websites are working for me, even while I am sleeping or doing something else. So, my advice to you is to think about how you might be able to make money even while you are doing something else.
Many people have asked that simple question, but the answer varies depending upon who you talk to. There are plenty of ways to make money online without a website, but you are leaving a lot of money on the table if you don’t have a website. Even if you don’t have a pressing need for a site now, you should go ahead and choose a domain name and get a website up. It takes a little time for the search engines to crawl websites, so why not get an early start? You don’t need to know anything too fancy, and with the proper host, you can even install several applications such as blogs without knowing any html. Eventually you will want to capture leads while selling products via affiliate programs, and you need a website for that. My advice is to go ahead and get started with a site now, even if you just put up a blog with something about yourself. This will at least get you moving in the right direction. And, if you choose the right plan, such as the Baby plan at HostGator, you can then have unlimited websites without paying any more hosting fees (just domain fees). Some folks may point you to using blogger or some other hosted service, but why drive traffic to a website that you don’t own?
I found this great little guide today that has some good (quick and easy) information about using Adwords with Affiliate Marketing. It is called Two Minute Profits and although it is only 14 pages, it is quite useful. You can get Two Minute Profits if you don’t mind parting with about $6. I think it’s worth it.
